25 cl
milk - Fresh whole milk ensures the perfect creaminess
5 cl black coffee - Use strong, freshly brewed coffee
Cocoa powder - For the finishing touch and the hint of chocolate

Large mug - For a latte macchiato with plenty of room for creamy foam
Milk frother - For the perfect foam consistency
Coffee pot or espresso machine - for freshly brewed coffee

Steps
  1. 1. Prepare the recipe straight in the mug

    2. Heat the milk and froth it up using a milk frother. The froth should be about 2-3 cm thick

    3. Add caramel syrup to your latte macchiato. Add 2 cl of caramel syrup for the perfect caramel flavour

  2. 4. Pour the black coffee in carefully. Pour the freshly brewed coffee slowly into the cup

    5. Sprinkle with cocoa powder. A pinch of cocoa powder for that perfect chocolate flavour

Suggestions

  • Vegan latte macchiato with caramel: Replace the milk with plant-based alternatives such as oat milk or almond milk.
  • Sweeter latte macchiato: Add more caramel syrup to make the latte macchiato sweeter.
  • With whipped cream: Top the latte macchiato with a dollop of whipped cream.
