Preparation

Steps
  1. 1. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Take a large wine glass and fill it halfway with ice cubes. Tip: the more ice you use, the longer the cocktail will stay chilled without becoming too diluted.

    2. Pour in the Prosecco. Add 9 cl of well-chilled Prosecco to the glass. Pour gently to preserve the fine bubbles in the sparkling wine and to prevent the glass from overflowing.

    3. Add the raspberry liqueur. Pour 4 cl of Morand Raspberry Liqueur into the glass. This step gives the cocktail a lovely pink hue and an intense fruity flavour.

  2. 4. Top up with sparkling water. Add 3 cl of sparkling water to dilute the Spritz and make it even lighter. You can adjust the amount of sparkling water to suit your taste for a more or less fizzy cocktail.

    5. Garnish and serve. Finish by placing a half-slice of orange on the rim of the glass. You can also lightly squeeze some orange zest over the top of the glass to release a citrus aroma. Serve immediately and enjoy well chilled.

Suggestions

  • Adjust the sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter Raspberry Spritz, add a dash of raspberry syrup (e.g. Morand syrup) to the glass. This will bring out the cocktail’s sweet and fruity notes.
  • Non-alcoholic version: For a non-alcoholic version, replace the Prosecco with chilled lemonade or kombucha, and use only raspberry syrup instead of the liqueur. You’ll end up with a sparkling and refreshing raspberry mocktail.
  • Choose a quality Prosecco: A well-chilled dry Prosecco is ideal for a balanced Spritz. A quality sparkling wine will add more flavour and prevent the cocktail from becoming too sweet.
  • Fresh garnish: Feel free to add a few fresh raspberries to the glass alongside the orange. They enhance the flavour and add an attractive visual touch. A mint leaf can also add a pleasant fragrance to the cocktail.
